Managing the publishing game: A workshop for reviewers and authors

The purpose of this workshop is to educate both reviewers and authors on the review process in order to improve the quality of the review process, and consequently the quality of published manuscripts.  This will be attained by sharing practical examples of manuscripts, reviewers’ and editors’ comments in a workshop format.  The workshop will be preceded by a panel discussion of past and current journal editors in the field of sport management.  These experts will share their experiences and views on best practices for both reviewers and authors.

This needs to be done before August 27, 2010 (at no extra cost).  Materials, including two manuscripts and their respective reviews, will be sent to all participants prior to the workshop.
