In order to standardize the abstract layout we ask you to read the guidelines at this link carefully! 

  1. Abstracts can be submitted only via internet on Abstract Submission page. Abstracts submitted by fax or by email will not be accepted! Each participant submitting an abstract is requested to register for the congress before abstract submission. 
  2. All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English. 
  3. Maximum 300 words (2050 characters including spaces, but excluding the title and the authors) 
  4. Contributions should be concise, related to the congress topics and not previously presented or published. They must be publication-ready. No reformatting or retyping will be undertaken. 
  5. Avoid complex mathematical formulae, Greek letters and symbols. Instead of IFN-ß use for example IFN-b or IFN-beta, etc.
  6. Authors are requested to select a topic under which they wish their abstract to be reviewed.  
  7. The Scientific Committee will select abstracts for oral and poster presentation.
  8. After having submitted your abstract you will receive a confirmation by e-mail with the reference number of your abstract (ARN). Please make sure to state your correct e-mail address. You can edit the already submitted abstract directly on congress website using your ARN and e-mail address until the deadline.  
  9. All accepted abstract authors will be notified by e-mail.

Correction of abstracts can only be made until the deadline of February 29, 2008.
