Key Points & Abstract Submission Guidelines

  1. Abstracts MUST be submitted electronically according to the following instructions by the deadline of June 30, 2010. Abstracts submitted by fax or by email will not be accepted.
  2. All abstracts will be peer reviewed without knowledge of their source and selected for poster or oral presentation.
  3. Acceptance or rejection of an abstract is based on the average mark awarded by the reviewers.
  4. Presenting authors will be informed (by email) on the status of their abstract (accepted-rejected) by July 15, 2010.
  5. An abstract should contain maximum of 2500 characters/letters including spaces (approx. 250 words). The system will automatically let you know whether you complied with the rules before accepting your submission.
  6. Tables or/and pictures cannot be inserted.
  7. All abstracts must be written in English.
    Should your abstract be accepted for the short oral presentation you must be able to give your presentation in English.
  8. Titles should not contain more than 20 words.
  9. No abbreviations are to be used in the titles.
  10. When submitting your abstract, consider the related topics.
  11. If you need to enter Greek letters or use bold, italics or superscript/subscript please use our special text editor by clicking on the 'edit' button.
  12. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book. For each abstract accepted, the presenting author needs to be registered and the registration fee must be paid. Please note that if we do not receive the payment of registration fee by July 25, 2010 your abstract will not be published in the Abstract Book.
  13. Correction of abstracts can only be done before the deadline June 30, 2010.
  14. Abstracts received after the deadline cannot be accepted and therefore will not be considered for the programme or publication.
  15. It is considered understood that Authors of accepted papers have the financial resources to pay all personal expenses incurred including the registration fee, production of their presentation, travel and accommodation during the Meeting.
